Hebrews 6:1-9 Those who have fallen away

Hebrews 6:1Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,

2 of instruction about washings and laying on of hands, and the resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment.

 

1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us.

1 John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.

 

Hebrews 10: 11 Every priest stands daily ministering and offering time after time the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins;

12 but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God

 

Jeremiah 31:34 I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.

Isaiah 43:25 I, even I, am the one who wipes out erases your transgressions for My own sake,  and I will not remember your sins.

 

Isaiah 53:5 He was pierced through for our transgressions,

He was crushed for our iniquities iniquity;

The chastening for our well-being fell upon Him

 

Daniel 9:23 "At the beginning of your supplications the command was issued, and I have come to tell you, for you are highly esteemed”

 

Hebrews 6: 4 For in the case of those who have once been enlightened and have tasted of the heavenly gift and have been made partakers come in contact with of the Holy Spirit,

5 and have tasted the good word of God and the powers of the age to come,

6 and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance they do not have the ability to change their own minds

 

John 10:27-29 My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me;  and I give eternal life to them, and they will never perish; and no one will snatch them out of My hand.  My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.

Hebrews 6:6 and then have fallen away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance, since they again crucify to themselves the Son of God and put Him to open shame.

 

Hebrews 6:9 But, beloved, we are convinced positive of better things concerning you, and things that accompany salvation

 

Hebrews 2:1 For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it.
